You’ll collect and prepare datasets, support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, and play a key part in delivering the system‑wide Workforce Audit.Working closely with the Workforce Analyst, you’ll help maintain reliable datasets across recruitment, talent, learning, pathways and performance, ensuring partners across NGBs, UKSI, and internal teams have what they need to make informed decisions. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has great attention to detail, and wants to grow their skills within a people‑focused, mission‑driven environment.Who will I be working with?You will work day‑to‑day with the Workforce Analyst, as well as colleagues across Performance & People department, UKSI partners, NGBs and wider stakeholders who contribute to workforce data and insights.About youYou’re someone who enjoys working with data and takes pride in getting the details right. You feel confident collecting, organising and checking datasets, and you’re comfortable using Excel or similar tools to produce clean tables and simple reports. You bring a calm, organised approach to juggling tasks, and you enjoy supporting others by keeping information accurate, accessible and easy to use. You communicate clearly, build positive working relationships, and feel confident explaining what data is needed and why. You don’t need deep analytics experience; what matters most is accuracy, curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn how data supports better decisions across recruitment, development and workforce planning.
