Para-badminton made its Paralympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, with Krysten Coombs winning bronze in the men's singles short stature 6 and Dan Bethell claiming the silver medal in men's singles SL3 category. These two medalists, alongside Martin Rooke and Jack Shepard, made history as the first players to represent ParalympicsGB in para-badminton at a Games.
