UK Sport's Board meets six times per year to provide strategic direction to the organisation, as well as considering and making decisions on those recommendations put forward by our various panels.
Our Board members are appointed for a fixed term of four years and may be reappointed thereafter as determined by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. The four Chairs of the Home Country Sports Councils automatically also sit on UK Sport's Board.
UK Sport Panels are each chaired by a Board member and include other individuals of relevant expertise and experience who advise and make recommendations as appropriate.
