You will lead the delivery of our programmes, manage partnership agreements and contracts, and act as a senior ambassador for the charity. You'll build YST’s reputation within London's education, health, and sport sectors by working closely with senior stakeholders, policymakers, and influential networks.In this critical role, you will be responsible for directing the implementation of YST’s mission and programmes across London, aligning with regional priorities and national objectives. You will grow YST’s footprint in London’s school network, particularly in areas of disadvantage. You will embed our work in local education ecosystems and support school-led change. You will also work closely with our fundraising team to identify opportunities, write bids, and unlock local funding. You will support our political influencing work by strengthening relationships with local authorities and contribute to our regional advocacy. You will also amplify our voice and visibility as a trusted and impactful partner across the education and youth policy in London.To succeed, you will be an experienced and confident leader with a strong track record in the education, sport or charity sector, ideally with a focus on young people. You will have a strong understanding of the political, educational and sporting context in London and the ability to position YST effectively within them. A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable regional strategies and impactful national programmes that drive meaningful outcomes for young people.Effective at building relationships, you will also possess excellent communication, presenting and influencing skills. Strong at project management you will be highly organised and good at planning too.
