Job Description
Summer 2025 marks a major milestone for Northamptonshire FA, with the opening of our first-ever managed site - Kettering Sports Park.

With the launch of this state-of-the-art community hub, Northamptonshire FA is entering an exciting new chapter, and we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and lead the delivery of a first-class customer experience.

Location: Kettering Sports Park, NN15 6PB (occasional travel to Northamptonshire FA HQ, Moulton Park, Northampton)
Hours: 35 hours per week
(Working pattern to be agreed upon appointment, regular evening and weekend work will be required)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £31,620
Deadline: 9am Monday 30th June 2025

About the opportunity

Kettering Sports Park represents a landmark investment in grassroots sport in Kettering, designed to provide high quality experiences for clubs, players, and the wider community. This facility includes a brand-new 3G Football Turf Pitch, a 400m athletics track home to Kettering Town Harriers AC, and a refurbished pavilion featuring two multi-purpose spaces, a café, changing facilities, and office.

The appointed Site Manager will be responsible for the smooth and effective operation of the site. This includes recruiting and leading a team of staff, managing the programme of use for all facilities on site, ensuring strong financial performance, and upholding high standards of safety, maintenance, and customer service. The role also involves the management of the café offer and overseeing all the facilities contracts.

We’re looking for a professional with proven operational and interpersonal skills, preferably with prior experience managing a community sport or leisure facility. A dynamic and progressive mindset is essential.

This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in shaping grassroots sport in Northamptonshire, while contributing to our bold 2024-28 strategy - Create the Feeling.
