*We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Stadium Tours team on a fixed term contract to support us during our busy summer peak period. Multiple vacancies are available, offering both full-time and casual hours with varying shift patterns. Please note - all shifts will include some weekend work. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering an all-encompassing experiential, interactive tour of the Etihad Stadium and the City Football Academy. Tours will be delivered to a wide audience from all over the world and it is the role of the tour guide to deliver a first-class Manchester City experience.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the history and heritage of Manchester City Football Club, knowledge of English and European football and Manchester as a whole. They will be a flexible team player, have an engaging personality with exceptional story telling skills. You should have strong previous experience of working in a customer service environment, managing/controlling large groups and public speaking.

Your Impact

To be a brand ambassador for Manchester City by conducting engaging tours of the Stadium and CFA to a wide audience.
To play a front of house role, meeting and greeting guests, taking photos.
To oversee the distribution of the media guides.
To assist in the operation of the VR experience
To effectively operate all the Tours, show technology to deliver a first class guest experience
Sales -To upsell other tour products as and when appropriate
To adhere to all Manchester City Operational and Health Safety and Security procedures

Experience of presenting to groups.
Experience of managing/controlling large groups. Experience of working with children.
Experience of working within a customer focussed environment.
Excellent story telling skills.
Passionate about football.
Ability to connect and engage with a wide varied audience.
Enthusiasm and willingness to be flexible in approach to achieve desired outcomes.
Pro-active and engaging style.

Excellent time management skills
Good knowledge of the Premier League and Manchester City

Desirable

Acting Experience Ability to speak a second language. Customer Service qualification.
Experience of having worked within a Visitor Attraction.
Experience of using a till and bookings system
