Position Overview:
The London Lions are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head Coach to lead our elite men’s basketball program. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in top-tier European leagues or the NBA and demonstrate a strong commitment to talent development, team building, and long-term strategic growth. This role is pivotal in establishing the Lions as a premier club both domestically and across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of the team’s on-court performance.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor players, with a particular focus on integrating young talent into a professional environment.
• Build and manage a diverse, multi-national, and multi-cultural team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop a long-term vision for the club, emphasizing talent sustainability and competitive excellence.
• Oversee training sessions, game tactics, and analytics to optimize team performance.
• Represent the club at media events, community initiatives, and in negotiations related to team and player development.
• Cultivate a positive team environment that emphasizes discipline, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with league regulations and uphold the club's standards of professionalism.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven coaching experience at Basketball Champions League, EuroLeague, NBA or equivalent top-tier professional leagues.
• Demonstrated success in developing young players and integrating them into competitive environments.
• Experience building and managing multi-national, multicultural teams in high-pressure settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills capable of inspiring a diverse team.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Deep understanding of European basketball landscapes, scouting, and player acquisition.
• A strategic thinker with a passion for building sustainable talent pipelines and long-term success.
