The Role
The Club is seeking to appoint a Steward Manager to work within the Stadium Operations Team. The position will work as part of the existing stewarding operations team, providing support to the event day Safety Team whenever necessary as well as preparing resources for other regular events. The steward coordinator will contribute to the monthly audits of procedures and practices to support our desire to provide nothing less than a world class customer experience within a safe, structured, auditable environment.

The role demands excellent communication skills and an absolute commitment to offer the very best in-service standards and operational presentation.

The Club is searching for a role model who will lead by example and demonstrate personal qualities that will increase levels of service across all levels of our developing front of house operation.

Job Purpose
This is a key role within our safety management team working alongside the Senior Event Safety Manager and directly reporting to the Safety Officer team, you will be part of the team responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of the stewarding operation in advance of all events held at the stadium.

In addition, you will be required to contribute to the delivery of stewarding operations across a variety of major events held at the Tottenham Stadium and wider campus to include but not limited to football matches, NFL, rugby and concerts etc.

Non-Event Day
To work within a wider Steward Management team to support the planning, contribute to the administration and auditing our match day stewarding operation for both events held at the Tottenham Stadium and to a lesser extent our first team away fixtures.
Daily use of the Club’s software system to plan and administer the event day stewarding operation. The systems provide the administrative backbone to our matchday planning and is the software package that is used to record all of the stewards’ information, event deployment and payroll details. Working within the steward operations team you will be expected to support a range of processes which contribute to the success of the event day operational delivery.
A key function of the role is recruitment of stewards.
Support the recruitment process for the recruitment of newly appointed stewards
Support the administration of all necessary documentation for newly appointed stewards
Contribute to the on boarding communication of newly appointed stewards
You will be required to work with our partner agencies and develop excellent working relations with all

Event Day
Support the management of the stewards’ booking-in area to ensure it is prepared correctly, maintained throughout the event and provides all the facilities required by our partner agencies and stewards to efficiently and effectively undertake their operation
On rotation Lead the delivery of the steward workforce by event
Welcome and check-in all of Club’s directly employed stewards ensuring work times are audited, approved and recorded
Ensure that all stewards are correctly dressed for their shift
Collate the Audit documentation on steward performance, welfare, uniforms and ethics
Collate the audit documentation for partner agency attendance and performance and review qualifications data in line with the agency agreements and payment schedule
Oversee the arrival and departure of the partner agency workforce
Collect and collate post-match day documentation
Prepare post-match reports including incident reports and attendance statistics

Additional
Assist with departmental recruitment, induction and training of stewards (#Spurs Way)
Provide departmental administrative support for all steward related matters
Respond to day-to-day steward inquiries
Where required support the partner agencies in their event day preparation
Upload all match day documentation and supervisor information on to the match day Ipads
