Job Description
Role Overview

The Head of Food & Beverage oversees all food & beverage operations — from match day hospitality to bars and events — setting strategic direction, managing budgets and teams, and ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

You will lead on the strategic development and execution of food & beverage initiatives, tied to business expansion, growth, and the necessary cultural evolution and support. You will be supportive, proactive and analytical, creating memorable moments for our guests, fostering an empowered environment for the team whilst working closely with all key business partners in order to achieve quality results.

You will also serve as a key figurehead for the Club, promoting its values, both internally and externally. All work is carried out in accordance with company corporate policies, procedures and service concepts according to local requirements and regulations

This role demands a proactive mindset and the ability to turn ideas into action, fostering innovation while ensuring alignment with the Club’s long-term vision and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute food & beverage strategies aligned with overall business goals; improve service delivery and menu concepts

• Supervise and lead the food & beverage team, ensuring that all employees are trained, motivated, and effectively performing their roles

• Foster a positive work environment focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Effectively manage the life cycle of the team within the department, creating a culture of growth, development and performance whilst reflecting and promoting the company culture and values

• Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and partners both internal and external ensuring all communications/activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner

• Ensure the smooth running of the food & beverage outlets, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels, ensuring both club and company standards are attained and adhered to

• Working proactively to maximise guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution

• Prepare and responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and departmental inventory is controlled and that target productivity and performance levels are attained

• Ensure adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required

• Establish and deliver effective programmes that advances service standards, profitability and cost control which may include working with internal and external stakeholders as required, whilst incorporating environmental concerns.

• Maintain strict food hygiene, allergen, and safety protocols; ensure full regulatory compliance

• Oversee inventory, procurement, supplier relationships; optimise stock and minimise waste

• Support food & beverage elements for events and functions — banquets, meetings, private dining

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless, revenue-driven delivery

• Outstanding analytical and strategic skills improving the business from a financial perspective
• Skilled with Microsoft Office software, especially in Excel
• Experience of using IT Systems on various platforms
• An open, positive and communicative personality
