The newest, most sustainable and most accessible stadium in the Premier League, our new home is also a state-of-the-art 365-venue for non-footballing events and conferences.On the pitch, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our Men’s, Women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire, bring pride and continue to compete at the highest level of the game.About the opportunity: We have a new, exciting opportunity within our Football Strategy & Analytics Department for a highly motivated and analytically driven Football Strategy Analyst to work closely with our Head of Football Strategy & Analytics, and our Technical Director in shaping and delivering the Club’s football strategy.Key responsibilities within this role include:Football Strategy & PlanningCollaborating with the Head of Football Strategy & Analytics to identify and define the Club’s key strategic priorities across the football departmentMonitoring progress against these priorities, ensuring alignment with the Club’s long-term vision.Stakeholder Support & DeliveryWorking closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plansSupporting the delivery of strategic initiatives through structured project management approachesPerformance Monitoring & ReportingProducing regular KPI reports tracking progress against strategic objectivesDeveloping and maintaining a suite of reports for the CEO, Ownership, and senior football stakeholdersAnalysing performance trends across the football department to inform decision-making.Analysis & InsightsConducting benchmarking and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions across all areas of the football departmentSourcing and synthesising data from internal and external sources to generate actionable insights.Squad Planning & Recruitment SupportContributing to strategic recruitment discussions across both the Men’s & Women’s Teams.Executive SupportPreparing high-quality updates, reports, reviews, and presentations on behalf of the Head of Football Strategy & AnalyticsProviding analytical and strategic input into key football decisions at senior levelThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-level decision-making across performance, recruitment and squad planning, while driving strategic projects that impact the Club’s success on and off the pitch.Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and strategically minded professional with a strong understanding of elite football operations and decision-making.Combining exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders, you will have prior experience in a strategy, analytics, or a consulting role—ideally within a professional football club or high-performance sporting environment.We want someone who has a proven track record of supporting strategic projects, performance analysis, and executive-level reporting and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills, alongside a genuine passion for football and a deep commitment to driving continuous improvement at our Club.Please refer to the job description for further information about the role and its requirements.The role is permanent and will be based at Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood); working 40 hours per week, the closing date of this advert is Friday 10th April 2026.We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive a substantial amount of applications.
