Job Description
1. The Department

Our Men’s First Team Medical and Sports Science Department strive to deliver a world-class, multi-disciplinary service to empower our players to achieve and maintain their peak performance. We are driven by a relentless desire to win, our team continually challenges on another, fostering a high-performance environment grounded in excellence and innovation.

2. The Role

Based at our world-class facility at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, we are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to provide player treatment, injury prevention and have a significant variation of skills and treatment methods.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of injuries and medical interventions as per the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) standards.

This is an opportunity to work with some of the best football talent in the world and to make a valuable impact on their career.

You will play a vital role in our multi-disciplinary working collaboratively with the Performance Director, Head of Medical Services and Head Physiotherapist.

3. The Person

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
• MSc in Sports Physiotherapy, Sport and Exercise Medicine or equivalent international qualification
• Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) membership
• Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) membership

We are seeking a proactive and efficient professional with a calm and positive attitude and previous experience in delivering physiotherapy in an elite sports environment. You will need to be able to plan and deliver treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries and have a significant breadth of treatment skills and methods commensurate with a diverse range of elite athletes.

You will need to have clear, concise and accurate verbal and written communication skills and be able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You must hold a full, UK driving licence and be able to work flexibility as this role will require you to work evenings, weekends and matchdays as and when required.
