About Us
As a national charity, we are here to support individuals with the greatest need in our communities to continue to access and enjoy the sport we love.

Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our board as an unpaid volunteer trustee. The ideal candidate will possess strong fundraising skills and a deep dedication to advancing the objectives of the England Golf Trust.
Key Responsibilities
• Actively contribute to the strategic direction and governance of the Trust.
• Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to support our initiatives.
• Engage with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders to secure funding and resources.
• Monitor the progress of fundraising campaigns and report to the board.
• Promote the Trust's mission and values within the golfing community and beyond.
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in fundraising, including the ability to secure significant contributions.
• Strong networking and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective fundraising plans.
• Passion for golf and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and access to the sport.
• Experience in a trustee role or similar governance position is desirable but not essential.
Commitment
As a volunteer trustee, you will be expected to attend regular board meetings (typically 3 in person per annum and other ad hoc meetings held online) and contribute time and expertise to the Trust's fundraising efforts. This role is unpaid, but offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of golf in England.
