The Department
Our Data and Insights Team play a pivotal part in shaping business strategy at the Club. The team manages all first party data, CRM integrations, research and media valuation tools - transforming data into accessible dashboards providing clear, evidence-based insights which inform smarter decisions and empower our Business Operations Team to deliver better outcomes.

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Intelligence & Audience Analyst to join the team. This role will focus on our audiences – strengthening our ability to understand, segment and engage our diverse audiences. You will play a key role in translating behavioral and transactional data into audience frameworks, campaign and activation measurement and research – led insight. You will also directly support commerical growth, fan engagement, and marketing effectiveness, while contributing to the ongoing development of the Club’s analytical capabilities and audience strategy.
You will also work closely with the Club’s internal commerical and operational teams, as well as the Club’s external data agencies and services, providing the opportunity to go beyond routine and scheduled analysis to explore new business initiatives.

The Person
You will be a proactive individual with a strong desire to understand audiences, consumer behavior, and market trends across lifestyle and cultural orientated industries. You will also have strong SQL capability and hands on experience querying and transforming large customer and transactional datasets, alongside experience building and maintaining dashboards and audience reports using BI tools.
You must be able to engage a range of stakeholders with a track record of working closely with marketing and commerical teams. You will need to be able to translate data insights clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will be required to work predominantly on-site at our offices at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground so You will need to have access to a vehicle or have the ability to travel between our Club sites; Villa Park, London Office and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. You will also need to be available to work flexibly as and when required, for example matchdays and other events hosted by the Club.
