Finance Administrator Organisation Middlesex Tennis Salary £11,200 per annum (2 days per week) - £28,000 full-time equivalent Location Remote home-based working with some travel across Middlesex Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 14 June 2026 Interview date 24 June 2026 Job Description Role The Finance Administrator will support the Finance Lead, Bookkeeper and Professional Staff in performing key accounting functions to maintain accuracy and efficiency in processing payments and in administrating supplier invoices.Specific Responsibilities Accounts Payable• Set up and manage a finance/accounts inbox prioritising workloads effectively.• Process and pay supplier invoices, grants, and other expenditure, ensuring correct authorisation from internal teams and assist the Bookkeeper with accurate entry into the accounting system.• Process a high volume of invoices, including matching and reconciling discrepancies.• Work with internal teams to ensure timely payment of invoices.• Review, gain approval and process employee/trustee expenses.Accounts Receivable• Monitor incoming payments and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of debts.• Prepare and send invoices, track overdue accounts, and follow up on payments. • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and assist Bookkeeper in month-end closing activities.Payroll Administration• Assist the Finance Lead in payroll administration when required.General Accountabilities• Maintain accurate records and audit trails.• Assisting with system improvements and process enhancements.• To undertake any other duties deemed relevant by the management team.Person Specification• Minimum 2 years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable experience.• Knowledge of bookkeeping.• Knowledge of Xero accounting software an advantage.• Effective organisation, communication, diplomacy and presentation skills.• Strong attention to detail.• Knowledge of tennis, tennis club management, and of LTA direction and activities an advantage.• Ability to work in a team and motivate others.• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of MS Office applications including Excel.• Excellent customer service skills and experience.
