Overview

Offiical canoe and kayak races only started being held in the 19th century, in Great Britain, despite the sport dating back hundreds of years.

At Tokyo 2020 there will be men's and women's individual slalom events, as well as men's and women's individual and team sprint events. Read more on the Tokyo 2020 website.
