Location: Blended delivery using face to face contact and Microsoft Teams. *Delivery format will be subject to participants preference.
The ‘Leading With Impact’ module will focus on the engagement and participation in a ‘trust, alignment, and autonomy’ workshop to map your current landscape, understand you and your leadership philosophy, and therefore how you might further enhance how you lead others with impact.
Who should attend?
Our learning and development opportunities are here to support the UK’s National Governing Bodies, UK Sports Institute (UKSI) and our partners to enable our high-performance community to reach its full potential on the Olympic and Paralympic world stage.
This module is for anyone who wants to gain a new perspective on their leadership style relating to the dynamics of trust, alignment, and autonomy, whilst also understanding techniques to flex and adapt your leadership style to get the best out of others. This could include if you:
- Lead and manage individuals, teams, projects
- Are going through a transition as a leader and/or team
- Want to gain a new perspective on your leadership style relating to the dynamics of trust, alignment, and autonomy
- Want to understand techniques to flex and adapt your leadership style to get the best out of others
Learning outcomes
At the end of this module you should be able to undertake critical analysis of leadership, answering:
- What does trust look like across my team and stakeholders?
- What are we aligning too?
- What does alignment look like across my team and stakeholders?
- Is the level of autonomy appropriate for the current situation and individuals in my team?
