Job Description
Education Operations Manager
£37,312.00 per annum
Full time | Home based with 1 - 2 days per week in Loughborough

If you have experience supporting schools and educators to improve their delivery of physical education, school sport, and physical activity — and you’re ready for a new challenge — this role could be the opportunity you’re looking for.

We are a national charity dedicated to improving young people’s wellbeing and life skills through sport and physical activity. By empowering educators with impactful resources, tailored support, and professional development, we help schools unlock the power of PE and sport.

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Education Operations Manager to join our team. In this key role you will help shape and deliver our professional development and membership offers for educators, ensuring innovation, quality, and real impact.

You will work with colleagues on the development and coordination of a high-quality professional development offer (paid and free) tailored to schools and educators across the UK. This will involve auditing and enhancing existing programmes, while identifying areas for improvement, as well as new opportunities based on sector needs and trends.

You will align initiatives across teams to ensure consistency, creativity and impact and provide strategic input to help us stay ahead of market needs.

You will also oversee operational delivery of The Club, our national membership offer for schools and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs). You will coordinate benefits for schools, ensuring The Club provides a best-in-class customer experience. In addition, you will monitor member satisfaction and drive continuous improvement as well as support the Education Improvement and Innovation team with regional workshops, events, and training sessions.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of the UK education landscape. This role is crucial in identifying the needs of schools, including PE leads, PE teachers, Heads of PE, and Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) and therefore you will need experience of working with or within Schools, MATS’s or education organisations.

Effective at building relationships, you will possess excellent communication, presenting and influencing skills. Strong at project management, you will be highly organised and good at planning too. You will also have a track record of managing customer or member services, preferably within the education or sport sector.

The Youth Sport Trust is a passionate and forward-thinking organisation full of committed professionals. As a member of the team, we guarantee you will feel very much part of our mission and will experience fun, challenge and fulfilment in your role. Our values underpin everything we do, and we pride ourselves on a work culture which fosters innovation, creativity and personal passion. Benefits include generous annual leave entitlement, health cash plan, employee assistance programme and volunteering days.

If you possess all these attributes and share our passionate belief in the benefits of sport for young people, please go to www.youthsporttrust.org/careers and complete an online application.

Youth Sport Trust believes that diversity drives excellence, and that representation is important. The Trust therefore positively welcomes and seeks to ensure we achieve diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment. We encourage applications from all candidates regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.

Closing date: 11:59pm on 11 August 2025
Interview date: 19 August 2025 in Loughborough
Reg Charity No: 1086915

Please note: as a charity, we are unable to reimburse candidates for any travel or accommodation costs incurred in conjunction with attending interviews.
