Commercial Partnerships Coordinator Organisation British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Salary £24,000-£28,000 Location London and Hybrid (1 day a week office attendance) Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 20 August 2025 Job Description Main Purpose(s) The purpose of this role is to support the Commercial Partnerships Manager with leading on the delivery of BUCS’ commercial partner contractual rights via at-event activation and digital campaigns, to ensure positive and productive relationships. Main duties and responsibilities Lead on the management of assigned commercial partnerships and play a key role in supporting the Commercial Partnerships Manager with BUCS’ relationships with leading national brands such as Subway, AHDB, Technogym and Canterbury. Lead on the day-to-day delivery of partner contractual rights and key deliverables. Work with internal teams to ensure partner activity is embedded in the operational detail, planning, preparation and the delivery of sport and non-sport events. Work with the Engagement Team to ensure digital campaigns are aligned to partner needs. Build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners identifying opportunities for collaboration. Lead on partner reporting aligned with detail project plans, to demonstrate and track ROI, and to ensure KPIs are being met. Assist with communication with universities and colleges to aid their understanding of BUCS partner services, to scope new opportunities and to maximise rebate opportunities. Provide general support to the Commercial Partnerships Manager and delivery of the Commercial operational plan. Other This role will involve occasional weekend and evening work, and overnight stays at BUCS events. Professionally represent BUCS at all times. Coordinating projects and ability to meet deadlines. Supporting on the management of commercial partners, including activations and evaluation. Delivering in-person and digital event activations to fulfil contractual agreements. Analysing activations and driving improvement and innovation. Managing a busy workload with a range of concurrent accounts and projects. Essential skills and abilities The ability to analyse and solve problems. Desirable knowledge or experience Effectively managing budgets with the support of senior staff. Previous experience in a Coordinator or Officer role. Knowledge of the student sport sector and the Commercial landscape in the not-for-profit and/or sports sector.
