Department: Academy
Location: Harlington, Greater London
Reporting to: Academy Head of Operations and Senior Kit, Equipment & Logistics Manager
Hours: This is a full-time role including some evenings, weekends and travel as required.

Wycombe Wanderers FC is a League One Football Club with ambition. We’re on an exciting journey to grow the club through development of a new and progressive academy, alongside investment to support evolution of the 1st team environment, performance infrastructure, and progression to higher performance levels.

The Role
The Academy Kit & Equipment Manager is responsible for delivering a comprehensive, professional kit, equipment, and laundry service across all Academy age groups, with a primary focus on the Professional Development Phase (PDP) squads. The role requires exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to operate efficiently within an elite performance environment. The successful candidate will ensure Academy players and staff are fully equipped to train and compete to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
Academy Kit & Laundry Operations
• Lead the daily preparation, distribution, collection, and laundering of training and match kit for all Academy age groups and staff.
• Ensure all kit is presented to professional standards in line with Club expectations.
• Maintain accurate stock control and conduct regular inventory checks across both player and staff kit.
• Manage kit allocation and sizing records for Academy players and staff.
• Oversee the issuing, tracking, and retrieval of staff kit, ensuring all Academy staff are appropriately and consistently presented.
• Report stock requirements to the Senior Kit, Equipment and Logistics Manager.
Matchday & Training Support
• Prepare and set up equipment for Academy training sessions.
• Print and prepare match and training kit for Academy fixtures.
• Travel to all U21 fixtures (home and away) and U18 fixtures as required.
• Oversee matchday kit logistics, including pre- and post-match responsibilities.
• Ensure all equipment is transported, maintained, and stored correctly.
Ordering & Logistics
• Support seasonal kit ordering processes for Academy teams and staff.
• Assist with forecasting Academy kit and equipment requirements, including staff allocations.
• Ensure efficient storage systems are maintained within Academy facilities.
Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with the Head of Academy Operations to ensure service levels meet Academy performance objectives.
• Liaise with Academy coaching and support staff regarding training, match, and kit requirements.
• Coordinate daily with the Senior Kit, Equipment and Logistics Manager to align standards and operational processes across the Club.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Resilient and adaptable in high-pressure environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends in line with Academy fixtures.
Desirable
• Previous experience within a football or elite sports environment.
• Knowledge of Academy football structures and games programmes.
• 5 GCSEs (Grade A–C) or equivalent.
