The role is central to ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and athlete-centred care across all sites, embedding excellence in clinical governance, safeguarding, and full regulatory compliance (including CQC standards).Alongside delivering high-quality clinical care, the Senior Nurse will lead the operational management and continuous development of nursing practice within the service. The postholder will contribute to national and sport-specific athlete health initiatives, driving innovation and best practice across high-performance environments.Acting as the senior nursing representative, the role will serve as a key point of contact for regional and national stakeholders.
