We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in close partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and communities to ensure the tournament is delivered to world-class standards.About UEFA EURO 2028The UEFA European Championship is one of the world’s biggest sporting events. In 2028, it will take place across the UK & Ireland, bringing significant operational scale and requiring close coordination between host cities, stadiums, government partners and UEFA.We are recruiting three Programme Managers to support major areas of tournament delivery:Programme Manager (Central Programme Management)Programme Manager (Mobility)Programme Manager (Safety & Security)Each role provides structure, clarity and coordination across complex and high-profile programme areas.What you’ll be doingYou will develop programme plans, manage risks and dependencies, and coordinate activity across internal teams and external delivery partners.You will:Build and maintain programme plans aligned to the tournament roadmap.Coordinate delivery with host cities, stadiums, government partners and UEFA.Produce high-quality reporting and dashboards for senior leaders.Identify risks early and shape practical mitigation plans.Bring clarity, structure and momentum to a fast-paced environment.Support effective decision-making and cross-functional alignment.What we’re looking forWe are looking for candidates with proven programme management experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. These roles sit within a lean and scaling organisation, requiring sound judgement, initiative and the ability to navigate complexity.Key Criteria:Programme management experience as part of a complicated programme with multiple delivery partners.Strong understanding of risk management and reporting.Experience preparing high-quality reporting for senior stakeholders.Experience dealing with sensitive and complex matters.Ability to deliver under pressure, to fixed deadlines, with a high level of initiative.Strong stakeholder management skills (internal and external).Excellent communication skills.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.Experience working on a major sporting event is advantageous but not essential.
