You will lead on the recruitment of new clubs, new teams and new players — working with ambition, creativity and persistence to grow the JPL in England. Equally important, you will oversee the day-to-day relationship management of our existing clubs, ensuring that they feel supported, heard, and involved in shaping the future of the league. This position is ideal for someone who understands youth football, enjoys meeting people, and takes real pride in representing an organisation with purpose. It’s a commercial role, but it is also a human one — built around communication, trust and long-term partnership building.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Growth & Recruitment-Lead the recruitment of new clubs and teams into the JPL across England.-Build a strong and well-managed pipeline of prospective clubs.-Proactively identify growth opportunities within regions, counties, and player communities.-Confidently present the JPL offer — whether that’s in person, online, or at events. -Articulate clearly what sets the JPL apart, from our standards, player pathways and values.-Ensure clubs are sold opportunities with JPL sports tours, tournaments and All-Star programme2. Club Account Management-Act as a key point of contact for clubs during the season.-Maintain a consistent communication rhythm to ensure clubs always know what is happening.-Seek feedback regularly — what clubs like, what they don’t, and where we can improve. -Work with clubs to encourage maximum team participation each year.-Support clubs with challenges, ensuring issues are resolved with professionalism and empathy3. Relationship Building & Insight-Build trusted relationships with club owners, coaches, administrators and decision-makers.-Demonstrate a deep understanding of youth football in England: the competitive landscape, club motivations, player development pressures, and common challenges.-Stay across trends in youth sport, using this insight to strengthen our value proposition.Represent the JPL at events, presentations, meetings and regional activations.4. Reporting & Internal Collaboration-Maintain accurate records, pipelines and club updates within CRM systems.-Produce regular reports on progress, insights, club sentiment and risks.-Work closely with JPL ExCo to ensure everything we deliver aligns with club needs.-Contribute ideas and solutions to help evolve the JPL offering and enhance the experience.
