Salary

Location
London - Waterloo & Islington
Contract type
Permanent (Full time)
Closing date

Job Description
Join the Stretch Life team on a full time basis at our stretch studios in Islington and Waterloo, London. We’re looking for a highly organised, people focused, reliable and responsible team player to help us with various front of house tasks, studio duty management, sales conversion and retention activities and deliver assisted stretching to clients.

We’re looking for a Duty Manager who genuinely cares about people and takes pride in running a smooth, welcoming studio and delivering a great service to our clients.
At Stretch Life we specialise in PNF assisted stretching. Our clients come to feel better in their bodies, move more freely and take a break from the pace of life. Your role is to make sure that experience is consistent from the moment they walk through the door to the moment they leave.
You’ll be leading shifts, delivering great stretches to clients and keeping the studio running calmly and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering high quality assisted stretching sessions
Opening and closing the studio
Making sure the space is clean, calm and ready for clients
Supporting the team on shift in keeping things running smoothly
Handling bookings, client questions and day to day studio admin
Keeping standards consistently high
Solving problems quickly and efficiently
About you
You will have a bodywork background and will be passionate about helping people move with freedom. That might be in physiotherapy, sports therapy, massage, yoga or something similar. You understand bodies and you care about doing meaningful work. You’ll also be physically fit enough to be able to deliver assisted stretch sessions during your shifts.
You’re an exceptional communicator both verbally and written. Warm, clear and confident. Clients trust you and teammates respect you.
You’re reliable. If you say you’ll do something, it gets done. You take ownership, you’re on time. You notice the details. You like things organised and running properly.
You’re customer focused without being over the top. You understand that how people feel in our space matters just as much as the stretch itself.
You’re the kind of person who quietly keeps everything together in a calm, grounded way.
Why this role matters
This is not just a key holder position. You are setting the tone for the studio. When you’re on shift, the standard is yours.
If you love helping people feel better, enjoy responsibility and want to be part of a team that takes pride in what we do, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT US:
At Stretch Life, we hold a deep belief in the remarkable capabilities of the human body, provided it receives the right care and attention. Our philosophy revolves around the power of personalised PNF assisted stretching.

We are a dynamic start-up committed to enhancing the UK’s wellbeing, helping everyone stay young, as they grow old. Backed by a team of business experts, you’ll be working alongside our Studio Manager and Physio team and our founder, a highly driven, experienced entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in business to help lead our team to bring the power of PNF stretching to the UK.

Come join us and make a difference.

HOURS:
⏰Full time 40 hours a week although we will consider those who can work a minimum of 32 hours a week as well, the studio is open 7 days a week so you will be required to work weekends on rotation and regular evening shifts during the week to a set rota
🗓️Studio open hours: 10am-8pm Mon-Thu, 9am-6pm Fri and Saturday, 10am-6pm Sun
🏢Location: Working across both studios in Islington and Waterloo

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT:
For the right candidate, future development opportunities will be offered to move into a bigger role to help oversee multiple studios as we expand - so if you’re driven and ambitious and keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
How to apply
Please send your CV and cover letter to jobs@stretchlife.com where we ask you to share your experiences that are most relevant to the role. We will consider your application with the same care you take to write them. We recommend not using AI for the application so that we can see your own style of communicating. We’ll then be in touch with next steps. If successful, you will be required to complete the Stretch Life Assisted Stretching Course and qualify as a Stretch Life Therapist and undertake an onboarding programme to work closely with our founder, an experienced entrepreneur and business leader who will offer direct support and training to set you up for success in your new role. If you have any questions in advance of applying for the position, feel free to email jobs@stretchlife.com anytime. Apply now - we can’t wait to hear from you
