Job Description
Freelance stretch therapists for our assisted stretch studios working both in Islington and Waterloo, London

We’re looking for a number of Stretch Life Therapists to join our friendly team to help us deliver the highest quality of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) assisted stretching and service to our clients.

HOURS:
- Freelance hours: Minimum 15 hours per week, up to 30 hours per week which would include Mid-week evenings until 8pm and weekend days (please do not apply unless you have regular weekend availability for at least 2 weekends a month)
Note: premium rate paid for active weekend hours
- Studio open hours: 10am-8pm Mon-Thu, 9am-6pm Fri & Sat, 10am-6pm Sun
- Location: Stretch Life Islington and Waterloo (you’ll be expected to work across both studios)


BENEFITS:
- Pay: Basic pay, £13.15 per hour when not stretching. Hourly pay increases to between £15.15-£16.15 hour on active stretch hours depending on the days worked (equivalent to between £31.5k-£33.6k annually)
- Tax: Outside of IR35

ABOUT YOU:
You’ll have experience in hands-on bodywork either: Sports Therapy, Kinesiology, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Sports or other forms of Massage, with a solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology
You’ll be an exceptional communicator, able to connect quickly with a client and make them feel welcome, cared for and relaxed and you’ll be able to talk to them confidentially about their body and how PNF assisted stretching can help them
Passionate about helping others, you will consistently deliver great customer care both verbally and in written form and ideally have worked in a premium service environment (if not in wellbeing, in hospitality perhaps or similar)
Driven by continuous learning, you’re obsessed with understanding how the body works and will relish working on all kinds of people to improve their physical and emotional health
A team player and a people person, you’ll enjoy working with others who share a passion for helping others move with agility, without restriction or pain
With great attention to detail, you’ll not only deliver excellent results for your customers, ensuring they return time and time again, you’ll also be tenacious about encouraging customers to return for follow up sessions with you to ensure they continue to thrive

Here’s what we’re looking for in our therapists:
Certified bodywork experience
Punctual and dependable
A people person who can immediately connect and build trust with people from all backgrounds in a premium service environment
You’ll be fluent in written and spoken English
Driven and self motivated with a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn
Is eligible to work in the UK
Lives within easy commuting distance to our studios in Islington and Waterloo, London
People who are happy to assist with other studio duties whilst not actively stretching customers such as keeping the studio tidy and clean and supplies restocked, helping clients make bookings or creating social content

If successful, you will be required to complete the 4 day Stretch Life Assisted Stretching Course (unpaid) (we have a course starting 11 Dec) and qualify as a Stretch Life Therapist and after that, you will then work a number of paid hours under supervision until you are ready to work on clients solo.
