Job Description
Who are we?
Regent Advisory & HR is a Business Management and HR Consultancy based in Leamington Spa. We work with organisations across the UK, supporting them to operate more effectively, build stronger teams, and navigate the challenges that come with growth and change.

We are a small, focused team, and we are growing. The people who join us take on real responsibility from the outset, and we invest in supporting them to do that well. Our values, Authenticity, Reliability, Tenacity, and Integrity, guide how we work, how we engage with clients, and how we show up for each other.

The role
We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the delivery of our marketing and communications activity across a portfolio of Regent Advisory clients, primarily providing support to the Celtic Challenge alongside other client accounts and internally as required.

This is a hands-on role covering content, channel management, and media relations, working directly with clients and coordinating designers, content creators, and other communications staff to deliver against agreed scopes.

The role suits someone with genuine experience in sport, marketing, or communications, comfortable managing multiple accounts, building relationships with media and stakeholders. It's ideally suited to someone who has worked client side or agency side within sport, but we're open to strong candidates from adjacent sectors.

Role Summary: Marketing & Communications Manager
Reports to: CEO
Direct report(s): No direct reports, but includes coordination of freelance and contracted designers and content creators
Remuneration: £12,000 per annum pro-rata’d
Location: Remote (with occasional client visits and team meetings on site as required)
Employment Type: Part-Time, 10-month fixed term
Working Hours: 15 hours per week, on a fixed or semi-fixed schedule agreed with the team

A month at a glance
To give you a sense of what this role involves in practice, here is an example of what a typical month might consist of:

Week One: Plan
• Review client priorities, upcoming milestones, activities or events, and sector commentary to build out the month's content calendar across all accounts.
• Agree priority campaigns, key dates, and media opportunities with each client and the Regent team.

Week Two: Create & Coordinate
• Brief designers, content creators, and other communications staff on deliverables for the month.
• Draft, produce, and schedule website updates, news stories, and social content across client channels.

Week Three: Deliver & Engage
• Coordinate media activity, interviews, and press releases as required.
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and key stakeholders on behalf of clients.

Week Four: Review & Report
• Pull together monthly social media statistics and trends for each client and for Regent Advisory & HR.
• Share performance insights internally and with clients, shaping priorities for the following month.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Content Delivery
• Develop and deliver marketing and communications activities that promote our clients in line with each client's scope
• Produce written, photographic, graphic, and video content, with support from other designers and content creators
• Delivering agreed content campaigns in line with each client's scope

Channel & Website Management
• Manage client websites (content) and social media channels, including writing and scheduling news stories and posts
• Maintain a consistent content calendar and posting rhythm across multiple accounts

Team & Resource Coordination
• Coordinate the use of graphic designers, content creators, and other communications staff in line with agreed client scopes
• Brief external contributors clearly and review output before publication

Media & Stakeholder Relations
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders
• Coordinate media activity, interviews, and press releases for clients

Regent Brand Oversight
• Ability to provide oversight of the Regent Advisory & HR brand across its own channels and content, alongside client work
• Ability to ensure consistency of tone and standards across all client and Regent-facing content

Reporting & Insight
• Reporting on social media statistics and trends on a monthly basis, internally or directly to clients
• Using performance data to shape content priorities and flag opportunities or risks

Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in marketing, communications, or media relations, ideally within a sport, agency, or multi-client environment
• Confident in managing several accounts or projects at once, with strong prioritisation skills
• Experience coordinating designers, content creators, or other communications staff, even without formal line management
• Strong media relations experience, including handling press releases and interview coordination
• Comfortable working with website content management systems and social scheduling tools
• Confident using analytics and reporting tools to track and present performance
• An interest in sport, and ideally rugby specifically, is advantageous given our current client relationships
• Own transport may be required for event or client site attendance

Our Values
Our values are not a statement on a wall; they reflect how we work with clients, how we treat each other, and the standard we hold ourselves to.

Authenticity – We are straightforward and genuine. We say what we mean and mean what we say.
Reliability – We follow through on our commitments. Our clients and colleagues know they can count on us.
Tenacity – We do not shy away from complexity. We stay with a challenge until it is resolved.
Integrity – We do the right thing, consistently and without compromise.

What We Offer
• Enhanced Family Leave – We offer an enhanced family leave package that goes beyond statutory entitlements, supporting you through life's most important moments.
• Enhanced Annual Leave – A generous leave entitlement above the statutory minimum, because time to rest and recharge matters.
• Private Health Insurance – Access to private healthcare, so you can get the support you need, when you need it.
• CPD & Professional Growth – We invest in your development. Whether that is formal qualifications, industry events, or structured learning, we will support you in building your career.
• Flexible Working Hours – Alongside remote working, we offer flexibility in how you structure your hours around your week, where the role allows.
• Employee Wellbeing Support – Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), providing confidential support across mental health, financial wellbeing, and more.
• Company Pension – We contribute 5% of your total earnings into your pension, above the statutory minimum, to support your long-term financial security.
• Team Connection – Regular team meet ups and away days to ensure that, while remote, you feel part of something.
