Women's Head Coach (Rugby Union) Organisation Supermarine RFC Salary 0 Location Supermarine Rugby Club, Supermarine Road, Swindon, SN3 4BZ Contract type Volunteer Closing date 28 August 2026 Job Description We're looking for a new Women's Head Coach to lead our brilliant women's team into the new season.We play in Women's NC1 South West (East) and have a squad made up of everything from seasoned players to people who only picked up a rugby ball recently. We're ambitious and love to compete, but first and foremost we're a friendly team that plays because we genuinely enjoy our rugby.We're looking for someone who:- Has experience coaching rugby (ideally with a Level 2 coaching qualification or equivalent).- Has experience coaching backs, as our current coach is a forwards specialist and we'd love for her to continue working with the pack.- Can plan enjoyable, challenging training sessions for players of all abilities.- Is passionate about helping players develop, whether they're experienced or completely new to the game.- Creates a positive, inclusive environment where everyone enjoys coming to training.- Ideally has experience coaching women's rugby.Training & MatchdaysTraining: Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00pm–8:30pmGame Days: SundaysVenue: Supermarine Sports Ground, SwindonLeague: Women's NC1 South West (East)What you'll be joining:We've got a fantastic bunch of players who work hard for each other, enjoy a social and are always looking to improve. We want to win and do well, but we're not a win-at-all-costs team. We want people to enjoy their rugby, keep developing and be part of a great club.The club is hugely supportive of the women's section, and our current coach is keen to stay involved as a forwards coach, so you'll be joining an established coaching setup rather than starting from scratch.This is a voluntary position, so we're looking for someone who's passionate about rugby and wants to make a real difference to a growing women's team.Not looking to be a Head Coach?
