Job Description: The Sports Graduate will support the PE department, contribute to the co-curricular sports programme, and play an active role in the wider life of the school.

The Sports Graduate will also be a member of the Boarding team and will undertake weekly duties in the Boarding houses including evenings and weekends.

This role reports to the Director of Sport and Head of Boarding

Responsibilities of this post include but are not limited to:

Sports · Assisting the PE staff to deliver lessons across a range of sports · Assisting with coaching school sports teams and working with groups and individuals as required · Helping with the planning, running and officiating of training sessions, fixtures and clubs · Supporting the organisation of sports fixtures · Helping with equipment management · Supporting the Director of Sport with administrative tasks such as team lists, fixture arrangements and transport coordination · Assist with classroom-based GCSE PE lessons and filming for GCSE PE. Boarding · Helping to organise evening and weekend activities for boarders · Accompanying boarders on weekend trips, supporting trip leaders · Undertaking evening and overnight duties, including at weekends (day off in the week) · Completing administrative tasks for Head of Boarding/Head of Boarding House · Assisting on day and residential trips, supporting trip leaders · Helping to build a sense of community and belonging in boarding · Accompanying boarders to medical appointments · Administering medication to boarders (once Educare training is complete)
