Job Description: Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) is recruiting a HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our Sports Science and Medicine Department. This is a 0.5FTE fixed term role based at the Upton Steel County Ground (LE2 8EB), with regular travel throughout the cricket season (April – October), including occasional overnight stays. The successful candidate would need to be adaptive, fulfilling physiotherapy duties across the Senior Men, Tier 2 Women and Academy Squads and report to the Head of Sports Science and Medicine.
The postholder will ideally have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BSc / MSc)
•Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
•Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
•Minimum one year post-graduate experience in MSK rehabilitation / sports injury management.
•In date Trauma Qualification (LUBAS / ITMMiF / PHICIS level 2 or equivalent)
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high level of empathy
•Advanced DBS check and safeguarding training (required before start).
•Full UK driving licence, own vehicle, flexible to travel and work unsocial hours
•Computer literacy (MS Office and databases).
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to LCCC’s success.
