ROLE
The Communications Executive at Leicester Tigers will assist with all club PR and media communications and the delivery of news
across men’s, women’s, and academy rugby programmes. The role will include coverage of matchdays, events, partnerships, and
community activity. We’re looking for a creative storyteller who can help bring activity from across the Club to life. The
successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of rugby with experience or a qualification in journalism or communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the delivery of matchday media coverage for the men’s, women’s, and academy teams at home and away
games
• Deliver consistent content across new and existing channels, considering the wider communications landscape to keep
audiences engaged
• Write club announcements across all departments and functions
• Assist the Communications Lead with managing media stakeholders including broadcast, print, digital and radio media
• Assist the Communications Lead to deliver media sessions and events
• Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure activity is featured in, and consistent across, other marketing channels i.e.
social media and email
• Work collaboratively with the wider Marcomms team to deliver against Club objectives

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong understanding of rugby (E)
• Degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism or media (E)
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as required (E)
• Podcast experience (D)
