Strength & Conditioning Coach Organisation Hartlepool United FC Salary 25,000 Location Maiden Castle, Durham University & The Prestige Group Stadium, Hartlepool Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 6 June 2025 Job Description Key Roles & Responsibilities:- Overseeing day-to-day Strength and Conditioning (“S&C”) operations.- Design, deliver, evaluate, and consistently improve evidence-informed S&C programmes with the aim of enhancing individual and team performance – ensuring the programmes align with the Club’s Performance Plan. - Liaise with the Club’s Medical Staff and First Team Coaching Staff to ensure effective integration of S&C into player schedules. - Responsible for the formation and execution of player monitoring, including management of load, wellness, and all forms of physical testing. - Lead on physical player profiling whilst advising the First Team Coaching Staff on adaptive training methods tailored to data-driven insights.- Consistently communicate ongoing feedback to players and staff with the aim of supporting physical preparation for players. - Proactively deliver live physical performance information to players and staff, both in training sessions and from within the technical area during fixtures – home and away, pre and regular season, and at internal and external events which require the supporting of performance delivery.Other Responsibilities:- To consistently act in a manner which supports and upholds the Club’s values. - To be present at all First Team fixtures and Club events where required. - Travel to and from locations including Victoria Park, TS24 8BZ, Durham University, DH1 3SE, and other locations if required, meaning a driving license is necessary. - Develop a network of Volunteers and Interns to help nurture a pathway of future professional talent. - Assist with other areas e.g. Coaching – as well as miscellaneous duties as deemed necessary.
