Job Description: Are you looking for an exciting developmental opportunity in the sport sector? If yes, then this exciting new intern opportunity at Great Academy Ashton in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust (YST) could be for you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team delivering
the Set for Success programme funded by the Wimbledon Foundation in partnership with Barclays, an intensive Athlete Mentor led, youth leadership initiative targeting young people who are most at risk of not reaching their full potential.
This rare opportunity will develop your skills in school support, event administration, customer service and data management. You will be keen to work within a team and deliver
excellent results for young people in the local area. This is a fabulous opportunity to learn many transferable skills and build relationships with Athlete Mentors, organisations as well as support the Set for Success school network in your locality.
In return you will work with a passionate and forward-thinking charity committed to
improving children’s lives. As a member of the team, we guarantee you will feel very much part of both organisations missions and will experience fun, challenge and fulfilment in your role. In addition to your role with the charity, you will be working with Tameside School Sports Partnership to deliver the School Games events across the borough. You will also support delivery of leadership training across primary schools and be involved with other
projects to increase physical activity in children and young people.
