Job Description
PURPOSE

This exciting role in the ECB Events Department will encompass a wide-ranging remit coordinating the management of all ECB’s broadcast and streaming operational requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the highest possible standards in Broadcast Operations & Streaming.

The role works across all of ECB’s broadcast and streamed cricket, including men’s and women’s international cricket, and all televised domestic cricket including The Hundred.

YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF

You have a passion for world class sports events and broadcast.

You have a strong team ethic and can collaborate positively with multiple stakeholders.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment across multiple sites throughout the cricket season.

You have a problem-solving attitude in high pressured environments that differ from venue to venue.

YOU’LL BE DOING

Operational liaison with ECB’s domestic/ International TV & radio rights holders (Sky & BBC).

Operational liaison with ECB's streaming rights holder.

Conducting and managing venue site visits for our broadcast partners, facilities providers, and other matchday suppliers.

Managing televised match day broadcast operations working closely with the venue teams, ECB venue managers, and venue groundstaff.

Managing the ECB’s match specific broadcast requirements, including Decision Review Systems, analyst provisions and infrastructure at all applicable matches.

Working with overseas rights holders on all operational needs and facilities including collaboration with host broadcaster for world feed provision.

Work closely with ECB and venues facilities teams to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness of all streaming infrastructure overlay.

Working with ECB Commercial department to ensure smooth delivery of partner rights in broadcast, including overseas rights and commercial rights, physical and virtual.

Collaborating to ensure the delivery of the broadcast elements of event presentation are planned and managed.



YOU’LL HAVE

Excellent people skills.

Experience in managing a team and major stakeholders in end-to-end broadcast production.

An exceptional ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, internal and external.

Knowledge of broadcast infrastructure overlay including connectivity, feeds, compound planning and camera layouts for major sports.

A strong eye for detail and the ability to compile and present operational plans.

Broadcast operations experience at major sporting events.

Sufficient technical knowledge of outside broadcast operations.

A collaborative working approach and an appetite to deliver world class cricket productions.

Full UK Driving license
