Senior First Team Physiotherapist Organisation Dragons RFC Salary Circa £50k dependent on experience Location Ystrad Mynach, Wales with overseas travel Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 20 March 2026 Interview date 30 March 2026 Job Description JOB TITLE: Senior PhysiotherapistSALARY: Circa £50k dependent on experienceCONTRACT: Permanent with probationary periodStart date: June 2026 Key Responsibilities:-Maintain high player availability to the Dragons RFC senior squad through accurate injury assessment, diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation. - Plan and deliver high level rehab to injured first team players ensuring a safe and effective return to play using objective testing and data informed decisions.- Communicate effectively with the Head of medical to ensure they are kept up to date on all medical matters relating to first team players-Assist in keeping accurate detailed records of all injuries for injury surveillance project - Provide match day physiotherapy care and pitchside trauma cover for first team fixtures- Manage caseload of players effectively and efficiently - Provide education, mentoring and to more junior therapists and Interns.
