This role will teach across the whole school. The opportunity to offer teach PE at GCSE and A level will also be available for the right candidate and we will consider both full and part-time applications for this role (please note that both full and part-time working will include Saturday work). For this role, we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher, who is willing to be flexible, adaptable and work as part of a team. They must be prepared to participate fully in the school’s demanding schedule of fixtures and extra-curricular activities during the week and at weekends, with a keen attitude and ability to promote and maintain the school’s high standards. Pupils are taught to understand the relevance of a healthy lifestyle in relation to their everyday lives. Sport is an ever-changing subject, and the successful candidate should be open to new ideas and be ambitious for themselves and the department. Promoting self-confidence, self-respect and a sense of responsibility to all pupils is essential. The role could suit an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to whom excellent support will be given.
