Our programmes place physical and mental wellbeing at their core, whilst also creating healthy futures and healthy communities.The purpose of this role is to deliver the Primary Schools and Disability Schools programme within schools across Greater Manchester. The programme includes the delivery of National Curriculum PE, the Premier League Primary Stars programme, inclusive physical activity lessons, and programme related events.AccountabilitiesDelivering the Primary Schools and Disability Schools programmes to schools across Greater Manchester. A focus will be placed on high-quality delivery that increases pupils and teacher’s confidence and competence across the topics delivered.Working in partnership with the Primary Schools Officer/Disability Schools Officer to support the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme ensuring it provides a structured, educational, enjoyable and safe environment for all to develop within.Being accountable for progress and reporting on set KPIs and outcomes associated with the programme to develop, maintain and grow a strong working relationship with partner schools.Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all teaching staff and key contacts within schools to sustain long-term partnerships with the school.Ensuring that CITC’s Safeguarding policy and procedures are embedded to the highest standard across the team. Work to ensure that safeguarding practices and principles are adhered to, ensuring our legal and moral obligations towards the framework.Ensuring that all CITC and CFG policies and procedures are adhered to across the team, escalating any breaches as appropriate.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssentialMinimum NGB Level 2 Coaching Certificate in any sport (excluding dodgeball)A-C GCSE or equivalent in maths and EnglishExperience of working with children and young people or various groups within the community.
