Dextro Energy Triathlon London is part of the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series in which the World Champions are being crowned via a points system during seven events throughout the season.
Each event will see World Class Athletes as well as Age Groupers of all performance classes competing head-to-head on spectator friendly courses in the heart of some of the world´s most iconic cities. We will see stadium-like finish and transition areas with grand stands for thousands of spectators. And once again, TV pictures will be beamed live across the globe bringing the sport of Triathlon to millions of viewers worldwide.
Here in London the successful debut of last years event gave everybody a first taste of what can be expected at the Olympic Games in 2012. The Dextro Energy Triathlon 2010 returns to Hyde Park, London on the weekend of 24-25 July. Triathlon enthusiasts will not only have a chance to watch World Class Sport but also to compete in the Age Group Races over Sprint and Olympic Distance on the 2012 Olympic venue for triathlon.
