Club Talent Pathway Manager (HB0191) Organisation The Football Association Salary Competitive Location Home Based with travel required Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 24 May 2024 Interview date 26 June 2024 Job Description Set the bar for greatnessThe Women's Technical division are looking for a Club Talent Pathway Manager to support a group of FA funded talent pathway programmes: Emerging Talent Clubs (ETCs) and Pro Game Academies (PGAs), in developing future talent for club and country. The role will include working with clubs around talent development, workforce development, competition programmes and wider club development.Please Note:The clubs/partners/stakeholders you would be working with will primarily be based in the North of England so ideally you will be based there or able to easily and frequently travel in this region.Interviews are scheduled to be held on the 26th June 2024 at The National Football Centre, St. George's Park.What Will You Be Doing?Be a point of support for Professional Game Academies and Emerging Talent CentresWork with clubs to develop a Blueprint plan that supports the future development of their club and playersSupport clubs in developing:a vision and growth plan for their programme an effective talent identification and recruitment plana challenging training and games programmea holistic player development modelSupport clubs in ensuring they have a comprehensive player education and player care model in placeProvide regular feedback on the player development within FA funded club programmesSupport club action planning in response to the system audit processPlan a schedule of regular communication and visits to clubs / centres within the regionSupport the workforce development and CPD related to FA funded programmesWork with other departments in the FA to align support around player development. This includes England National Teams, The FA Coach Education team and the Women's Professional Game teamEnsure effective partnership working with key stakeholders to diversify the base of talent entering the Talent Club PathwayDeliver key projects or specialist responsibilities as outlined by the Senior Club Talent Pathway ManagerContribute to the planning and review of the club pathwayExecutes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check.
