Commitment: Approximately 3–4 hours per week (September–May)

About Young Queens FC

Young Queens FC is a girls-only football club providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment where players can develop their football skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team.

Founded by a professional football coach, our mission is to create positive experiences for every player while supporting and developing the next generation of volunteer coaches.

The Opportunity

We're looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Coaches and Team Managers to join us for the 2026/27 season.

Whether you've coached before or have never stepped onto the touchline, we'd love to hear from you. If you're passionate about helping young people and enjoy being part of a team, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Do
- Support and encourage a team of young players.
- Help deliver enjoyable and engaging weekly training sessions.
- Manage and support your team on matchdays.
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive environment where every player feels valued.
- Work alongside other coaches and volunteers to help the club grow.

Time Commitment

Training: Thursday evenings
Matches: Sunday mornings
Approximately 3–4 hours per week during the season.
There are scheduled breaks during the main school holidays.

What You'll Receive

- Full training and ongoing mentoring from a professional football coach.
- FA coaching, safeguarding and emergency first aid training.
- A funded DBS check.

- Able to commit for the duration of the season (September–May).

No previous coaching experience is required.

Requirements

Successful volunteers will be expected to:

- Complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Complete online FA coaching, safeguarding and emergency first aid courses.
- Commit to the club for the 2026/27 season.
