Salary: This is an unpaid voluntary role. Reasonable travel and related expenses will be reimbursed.
Location: The Board meets six times a year, with a mixture of online, in-person and hybrid meetings.
Contract type: Volunteer

Job Description: Welsh Rowing is seeking a commercially minded Non-Executive Director to join our Board and help shape the organisation’s long-term success.
You will provide strategic insight, independent judgement and constructive challenge, with a particular focus on commercial development, communications, marketing and digital opportunities. Working alongside fellow Directors and the Executive Team, you will help strengthen our financial sustainability, governance and impact across the rowing community in Wales.
We are looking for someone with:
• Demonstrable commercial development experience
• Strong communications and marketing expertise
• Confidence using digital tools and platforms
• An entrepreneurial mindset and sound strategic judgement
• A commitment to inclusive leadership, safeguarding and good governance
Previous Board experience and knowledge of rowing are welcomed but are not essential.
