Job Description
Trafford Leisure has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join the team.

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Trafford Leisure Support Office, Timperley

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About Us:

We are the largest operator of sport and leisure facilities in Trafford, with an annual turnover of £8 million and over 300 employees. Our bold vision is to inspire and create opportunities for the people of Trafford to move more and live longer, healthier, happier lives.

This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council’s multi-million-pound leisure investment programme is rolled out. This ambitious programme will see the portfolio of leisure centres transformed into fit-for-purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of “move” for future generations to come.

The Role:

We’re looking for a curious, data‑driven Marketing Executive to join our fun, collaborative marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves diving into numbers, spotting trends, and turning insight into action. If you enjoy analysing what works and why across campaigns, content, and digital channels, you’ll fit right in.

This role will be based at our support office; however, travel to our other sites in Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, and Urmston may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and analysing campaign performance across Meta, Google Analytics, and PPC platforms
Tracking website performance, user behaviour, and conversion trends
Managing and reporting on PPC campaigns, including optimisation and budget tracking
Reviewing engagement, reach, and brand impact across social media
Using tools like Hootsuite to schedule, monitor, and evaluate social activity
Updating and maintaining website content through WordPress
Supporting SEO activity, including keyword research and on‑page optimisation
Producing clear reports and dashboards to show what’s working and what isn’t
Supporting B2B marketing activity, including campaigns, content, and outreach
Contributing to PR activity where needed
Working closely with the wider team to bring creative ideas to life
About You:

3-4 years’ experience in a marketing role (agency or in‑house)
Ownership of data analysis and presenting insights in a clear, meaningful way
Strong understanding of the following:
Meta Business Suite
Google Analytics
PPC / paid ads
SEO fundamentals
Hootsuite
WordPress
Someone who enjoys continuous learning: marketing moves fast, and so do we
