Work with the Regional Committees to deliver Benevolent Fund events and recognise those individuals who have contributed to charity through providing nominations for the Toby Sunderland award.• Support Members through regular contact, guiding them towards services and mechanisms provided by the PGA. • Manage Member welfare and support within a predetermined geographic territory focusing on the Member Services 6 delivery pillars.• Provide PGA Members with a service that will impact on their day-to-day performance as a PGA Member in the business of golf. • Facilitate Member engagement and communication that is cascaded or required to support the function of The PGA’s business - its strategy and or Regulatory compliance.• Consult and liaise with PGA Members and facilities on a variety of issues. • Advise PGA Members on how to improve business efficiency and utilise PGA initiatives. • Identify and promote future career opportunities and advise Clubs with regard to the recruitment process. • Promote the skills and abilities of the PGA Members as professionals in the golf industry: Through face-to-face meetings The promotion of written and online resources• Highlight areas of current and future CPD requirement. • Take a special interest in one (to be determined) of the specialties of Coach, Professional, Manager or Welfare and champion this group providing specific advice on strategy, services, support and training.Role Requirements: Education/Qualifications/Key Competences/Personal Profile:Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet and Database; Experienced public speaker; Able to travel (Driving License required); Understands the basic principles of running a successful business; Understanding of The PGA’s constitution, regulations, structure and operational function; Understanding of the role of a PGA Professional, Coach and/or Manager; Experience of working with Golf Clubs and/or commercial business owners; Familiar with best practice requirements for running committee meetings; Qualified mental health first-aider; Experience in planning, monitoring, organising, prioritising work load; Results driven, business focused; Strong communication, feedback, networking and interpersonal skills; Flexible and adaptable approach; Demonstrates corporate awareness; Ability to act with compassion to support benevolent/welfare cases; Team player; Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels; Understands the structure and philosophy of a Membership Association; Highly motivated, proactive self-starter; How to apply How to Apply: 1.
