Job Description: The Physio Box Clinic is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist, Sport Rehabilitator or Sports Therapist to join our team in a varied role working across our private MSK clinic in Kensington and our Return-to-Sport and pitch-side service at a leading private school in Surrey.

This is a unique opportunity for a clinician who wants to combine private MSK practice with sports rehabilitation and pitch-side experience.

At our Kensington clinic, you will assess and treat a varied private MSK caseload, providing evidence-based assessment, treatment, exercise rehabilitation and return-to-activity programmes. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical reasoning and MSK skills while working as part of The Physio Box Clinic medical team.

At the private school in Surrey, you will take a lead role in delivering our Return-to-Sport service, assessing injured pupils, developing and progressing rehabilitation programmes, and supporting athletes through a safe and structured return to training and competition.

The school role also includes pitch-side cover for competitive fixtures, providing acute injury assessment, immediate management and appropriate return-to-play decision-making.

The role is primarily structured around Monday and Wednesday school rehabilitation/training sessions from 1:00pm–4:00pm, with Saturday fixture cover during term time, alongside opportunities to see private MSK patients at our Kensington clinic.

The Physio Box Clinic is committed to the successful candidate's ongoing professional development. We will provide CPD support, clinical mentoring and access to our internal diagnostic MSK ultrasound imaging development pathway, offering the opportunity to further develop MSK assessment and clinical reasoning skills.

This position is ideal for a clinician looking to develop a career that combines private MSK practice, sports rehabilitation, Return-to-Sport management and pitch-side care within one role.

Requirements

We are looking for a confident, motivated and professional clinician with a strong interest in MSK, sports injuries and rehabilitation.

Essential Requirements

Right to work in the UK
Qualified Physiotherapist, Sport Rehabilitator or Sports Therapist with a recognised degree or equivalent professional qualification
Experience in sports injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation
Strong knowledge and practical experience of MSK assessment and rehabilitation
Good understanding of Return-to-Sport / Return-to-Play rehabilitation principles
Confidence assessing and managing acute sports injuries
Ability to develop, implement and progress individual rehabilitation programmes
Appropriate professional registration – HCPC for Physiotherapists, BASRaT for Sport Rehabilitators, or other appropriate professional registration for Sports Therapists
Current professional indemnity and liability insurance
Appropriate pitch-side first aid / emergency care qualification
Confidence providing pitch-side injury assessment and making appropriate removal-from-play decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate professionally with patients, pupils, parents/guardians, coaches and school staff
Strong organisational and clinical record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for clinical decision-making
Professional, reliable and proactive approach
Commitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing CPD
Ability to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during school term time
Willingness to work across both Kensington and Surrey
Ability to meet the appropriate Enhanced DBS and safeguarding requirements for working with children and young people
Desirable

Previous experience working within competitive sport, school sport, academies, clubs or team environments
Previous pitch-side sports injury experience
Experience working within a private MSK clinic
Experience managing athletes from initial injury through rehabilitation and Return-to-Sport
Experience with exercise-based rehabilitation and strength & conditioning principles
Knowledge of injury prevention and load management
Experience working with adolescent or young athletes
Interest in developing advanced MSK assessment skills, including diagnostic MSK ultrasound imaging
