Job Description
Tennis Icon UK is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Tennis Coach (Level 3-4) to join our dynamic coaching team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to competitive performers, while building your own coaching career in a supportive environment.

Tennis Icon UK is committed to delivering exceptional tennis coaching programmes that inspire players to reach their potential. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive environment where tennis is accessible to all members of the community, offering pathways from grassroots participation to competitive performance.

Main Duties
Coaching Delivery
- Deliver high-quality group coaching sessions across all age groups and ability levels
- Provide engaging individual/private lessons with personalised instruction
- Coach programmes including Tots Tennis, Red/Orange/Green ball progressions, and competitive junior development
- Deliver adult coaching sessions for all standards from beginners to advanced players
- Maintain high coaching standards that promote player development and enjoyment

Programme Development
- Work collaboratively with existing coaching team to enhance programme offerings
- Build and develop your own private client base with unlimited court access
- Support outreach programmes to local schools and educational institutions
- Contribute to year-round programming on quality maintained courts

Professional Standards
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times
- Maintain effective organisation and communication with players, parents, and colleagues
- Show flexibility with scheduling to meet programme demands
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Essential Requirements
- Current LTA Level 3 or Level 4 coaching qualification
- Up-to-date LTA coach accreditation with commitment to ongoing professional development
- Valid DBS disclosure satisfactory to Tennis Icon UK
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working with large groups of beginner players
- Demonstrated ability to coach small performance-focused groups
- Experience delivering engaging and fun tennis sessions across age groups
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Team player with collaborative approach

- Passionate about tennis and player development at all levels
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated coaching style
- Professional and diplomatic approach with excellent influencing skills
- Ambitious with commitment to continuous improvement as a coach
- Reliable with strong work ethic

Working Conditions Schedule Requirements
- Full-time position with flexible hours
- Weekend work essential, including Saturday commitments
- Year-round programming on well-maintained, floodlit courts
- Combination of group coaching hours and private lesson opportunities

Preferred Qualifications
- Driving licence and access to vehicle (for outreach programmes)
- Previous experience in park, club or facility-based coaching environments
- Experience with competitive player development programmes
