Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our sports programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing players’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sports coaching and teaching to inspire young athletes and contribute to their personal and athletic growth.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levelsDevelop customised training programmes to enhance individual and team performanceProvide guidance on technical skills, tactics, and game strategiesFoster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all participantsOrganise friendly matches and participate in organising tournaments or competitionsMonitor players’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their developmentEnsure all activities adhere to health and safety regulationsPromote good sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork among playersCommunicate effectively with parents, guardians, and organisational staff regarding player progress and programme updates

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football or similar team sportsStrong teaching abilities with the capacity to motivate and educate players of various agesKnowledge of current coaching techniques, rules, and safety standards in footballExcellent organisational skills with the ability to plan engaging training sessionsEffective communication skills to work collaboratively with players, parents, and colleaguesRelevant coaching certifications or qualifications are preferred but not essential for entry-level positionsEnthusiasm for sports, fitness, and youth development is highly desirable

This role provides an enriching environment where coaches can make a meaningful impact on young athletes’ lives while developing their professional skills within a supportive team.
