Marketing and Communications Manager Organisation Switch the Play Foundation Salary £32,000 - £42,000 subject to skills and experience Location Remote Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 26 August 2025 Interview date 15 September 2025 Job Description We are looking for a creative Marketing and Communications Manager in a brand new role to lead on all aspects of marketing and communication for the Foundation. This new role will be instrumental in raising awareness of our mission, amplifying our impact, and engaging key audiences including sportspeople, funders, and partners. Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that delivers against the charity’s new 5 year strategy.- Lead on brand development (building from our 2024 rebrand) and ensure consistency across all channels.- Manage digital platforms including website, social media, and email marketing.- Create compelling content that tells the story of our impact and mission.- Creative oversight approving concepts, storyboards, designs, and final outputs.- Project management to oversee the execution of creative projects from ideation to delivery including timelines and budget oversight.- Support fundraising and the athlete services teams with marketing and campaign assets and ensure that marketing, communications and engagement with key audiences are aligned.- Monitor performance metrics and use insights to optimise engagement.- Line Management - whilst this new role does not currently have any direct reports, this will change. The postholder will help to inform our recruitment strategy and will ultimately line manage a small team. They will be expected to contribute towards a supportive and collaborative team culture.- Drive excellence in marketing planning and use of resources so activities and investment are optimised in line with latest insight and learnings.
