Based at the iconic Kia Oval, we are a modern, ambitious organisation with a clear vision: to grow the game, inspire communities, and deliver exceptional match-day experiences.We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Partnerships Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role sits within the Partnerships team and will focus on identifying, pitching, and securing new commercial partners — for SCCC and new Hundred franchise team— while contributing to the wider club’s partnership goals.What you’ll do•Identify and research prospective partners to generate new leads aligned with the club’s brand values and audience.•Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, working closely with the Design, Marketing, and Data teams.•Manage and build a robust sales pipeline through platforms such as SponsorUnited and Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.•Foster strong internal relationships across departments — including Marketing, Player Management, Communications, and CRM — to understand and develop partnership rights and opportunities.•Support the Partnerships Managers, when required, with the delivery of contracted partner rights — including matchday activations, partner events and partner ticket allocations. •Assist in administrative duties such as invoicing, internal payments, and tracking of partner deliverables.•Stay abreast of industry trends, sharing best practice and competitor insights with the wider commercial team.•Represent Surrey CCC and The Kia Oval at networking events, industry forums, and matchdays to build relationships and promote the club’s commercial offering.•Undertake additional duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the Commercial department.The PersonThe successful candidate will have the following experience / skills / qualities:Essential:•Demonstrated experience in B2B sales or partnership development.•Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.•Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.•Proficient in Microsoft Office.•Clear and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.•Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, event-led environment.•Motivated, passionate, and committed to personal and professional growth.•Willingness to work during matchdays, including occasional evenings and weekends.Desirable:•Previous experience in an account management, sales or a sports-based role. •Understanding of the UK sports sponsorship landscape, particularly in cricket or team-based sports.
