Football Education Coach Organisation Stockport County Football Club Salary £27,000 Location Stockport Contract type (Full time) Closing date 15 June 2026 Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic Coach to join our Football Education team. The postholder will plan, deliver and lead all coaching and other enrichment activities for designated Football Education squad groups, including training, matches and gym sessions.Key Responsibilities• Lead and co-ordinate all football enrichment provision for designated Football Education squads during timetabled sessions, fixtures and additional opportunities for participation and development.• Plan, deliver and evaluate all coaching sessions in line with the club’s coaching philosophy. Be responsible for the players’ overall training programme and arrange all fixtures, including preseason. Manage appropriate playing opportunities and match minutes for all eligible players.• Assess the performance of all players and lead analysis sessions with the squad. Set realistic performance targets for each player and support their continued development throughout the season. • Work effectively with the coaching team and wider Football Education staff to ensure all players receive high quality provision that contributes to their overall education study programme and offers them unique experiences and opportunities.• Construct and deliver detailed individual player progress reviews with players and parents/carers.• Play a supporting role in the implementation of a broader range of enrichment activities, including trips & visits and work experience to develop key knowledge, skills and professional expertise related to their study programme.• Be an effective team member and work positively with colleagues to contribute to, develop and enhance Stockport County’s overall provision for teaching, learning and enrichment.
