Job Description: Post: Football Education Lead Coach (Stanmore College/Chelsea FC South London Campus)

(Part Time, 14 hours per week, 4 days per week, 38 weeks)

Reporting to: Head of Football

Job Summary: To support and lead the learning of the students in scheduled sessions/games and to undertake related professional duties.

Main Duties

1. To coach scheduled sessions as requested (Monday/Tuesday/Friday)

2. Lead on college game days (Wednesday or Friday)

3. To mark registers, monitor student attendance, and complete registration requirements.

4. To participate in the College’s quality assurance procedures as directed.

5. To contribute to the action planning of students and provide end-of-term reports.

6. Record college fixtures on Veo for analysis sessions.

7. To take responsibility for health and safety, equal opportunities, and data protection within the scope of the post.

8. Recruitment of local U16 players from schools and clubs.

9. Lead/assist on trial days and open evenings.

10. Determining individual player abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, and factoring these into the gameplay and strategy sessions.

11. Ensuring the football field is available for sessions and that players show up on time.

12. Establishing rules and regulations and ensuring players are familiar with them.

13. Fostering good sportsmanship in all team players, resolving disputes, and addressing bad behaviour promptly.

14. Ensuring all sports equipment is available and in working order.

15. Willingness to be a first aider.

Preferbale requirements:
- UEFA C licence or above
- Driving licence
- Up-to-date safeguarding and first aid
- Coached within a professional or college environment in the last two years
- Comfortable leading and delivering to 16-19 year old students
- Live around the South London region
