The Role

Do you have extensive, demonstrable experience working in the partnerships industry?

Are you an energetic self-starter with a can-do attitude – driven to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively?

Can you cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners and other key stakeholders?

If the answer to these questions is yes, we would love to hear from you.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Sponsorship and Partnership Manager to join our Commercial Team! You will be responsible for the management of all SCCC’s and the ECB’s sponsorship partners. You will ensure timely delivery of the partners’ sponsorship rights and demonstrate the positive impact of their partnership with us on their business. Simultaneously, you will cultivate these relationships and identify new partners which will result in increased revenue spend with Somerset County Cricket Club/Cooper Associates County Ground.

To give you a snapshot of the tasks involved in this exciting role, you'll oversee the coordination and delivery of sponsorship contracts and rights, monitor the impact of our partnerships, alongside developing tailored proposals, creating new revenue opportunities and identifying innovative brand activation strategies. You will handle sales of sponsorship packages, develop marketing materials, and analyse sales pipelines. Additionally, you’ll support event marketing, gather content for sponsors, and provide regular reporting on activation and rights delivery.

About You

Amongst other criteria, to be successful in our team you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create sales presentations, material and collateral. You’ll have demonstrable experience working within the partnerships industry, with an undergraduate degree, or equivalent qualification, in a related field. You will also have in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, industry trends and new technologies.

You're energetic with a can-do attitude, driven to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively. You approach work in a flexible, innovative way – and when faced with challenges and setbacks, remain positive and enthusiastic. Above all, you're passionate about what you do and committed to doing your job to the highest standard.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.

In return, you'll be joining a high-performing, ambitious team who values everyone's contribution. You'll receive a competitive salary, access to health benefits and employee assistance programme, continued professional development support, free parking and more.
