Sports and Fitness Support Worker Organisation Share Community Salary £13.85 per hour (£25,207 FTE salary) Location Vauxhall, London Contract type Permanent (Part time) Closing date 12 October 2025 Job Description Do you want to support an inclusive sports and fitness programme? We are looking for an energetic Sports and Fitness Support worker to working with our Vauxhall team to support the delivery of our Sports and Fitness sessions. This role is 18 hours per week, working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes helping adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs become more happy, healthy and independent. Main responsibilities Work flexibly to support our students to participate in sports and fitness activities.Identify students who require one-to-one assistance or who have more complex needs and provide person-centred support.Lead smaller groups and plan and deliver free-time activities.Create resources to support individual students’ unique styles of learning. About you Paid or unpaid experience of working within social care and providing services directly to adults with learning disabilities and autism.Experience supporting or delivering inclusive sport and fitness activities.Patient, supportive and empowering, with close attention to student wellbeing.Above all, you share our strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people in society and believe in equality for all.
